I discovered my son taken for adoption was a Deadhead and I found a big stack of ticket stubs from all the shows he'd gone to. I just had a memorial marker made for him that says "Keep On Truckin'."

I've invited you to his FB group "John Stuart Oxley Friends and Family." However, the marker I had made has his given birth name on it "Jeremy Scott."

Thank you Louise. As an adoptee, yes, resonance has opened me wider than biological belonging. I'm grateful to you for expressing that so beautifully!

I found my family in 8 months with no information at all and records locked. I used a medium.

It was to me also. I dont believe in mediums its a long story. I documented it in my book Not Remembered Never Forgotten. The medium Carol London has passed away. They are real and there are those who watch over us and will help

Love this one! Now I really want to get on the bus. I'm one of those "lucky" people with deep roots, but I think many of us often feel that sense of separation within our own families. Your beautiful words have made me feel as though I could find connection and grounding on the bus. Thank you!

Wow Louise - explaining how moments in time and unexpected places can feel just like home. Just like family. It fills my heart that you find that in common with Bill and the music and the space.

♥️♥️♥️ Love this Louise, your opening paragraph and all the way through brought me home, your words flow are so beautiful, I could hear the music in my head and feel the love you feel when at a Dead show, there’s nothing like it. Thanks for sharing your gift with us.

I think I now understand the Dead a bit. I never really have “gotten” them before, but I certainly connect with what you’re saying, and so it must work that direction, too. Very good writing, my friend. Thank you. So appreciate you!

Take 2 🎬 I’m bawling 😭 but they’re happy tears. This!! Your beautiful words explain feelings that are hard to describe unless you just know. I wish we didn’t know but oh my goodness what we would’ve missed otherwise. “What a long strange trip it’s been” ❤️

You have a gift. 🎁
